If you've always wondered what lies beneath the surface, now's the time to find out. Start the journey of a lifetime with the PADI Open Water Diver course. It will change your life forever.

In the PADI Open Water Diver course, your PADI Instructor takes you through the basics of learning how to scuba dive. You start in the pool and then progress to the open water (ocean, lake or quarry), gaining background knowledge along the way.

Earning your PADI Open Water certification is just the beginning. As a certified diver, fabulous dive destinations, exciting people and uncommon tranquillity awaits you. And, as you continue your adventure and gain experience through higher levels, your opportunities expand.

Pre-requisites: 10 years old for Junior Open Water Diver and 15 years old for Open Water Diver, must be reasonably fit and comfortable in the water, able to swim 200 metres and tread water for 10 minutes.

What does the course involve: The course consists of independent student study and academic sessions which include videos, instructor presentations and quizzes. You will be required to complete independent study prior to each academic session. These sessions will give you the fundamentals and essential knowledge needed for safe and enjoyable diving.

You'll have 5 confined water dives, during which you will apply dive principles, learn and practice dive procedures and skills. To complete the course, you'll also have 4 open water dives to participate in, which will further develop your knowledge and dive skills under instructor supervision and guidance.

How long will it take: We can run the PADI Open Water Diver course over 4 days, which is broken down over 2 weekends, so the first weekend you'll complete your confined water dives and academic sessions, and the second weekend is when you'll complete your 4 open water dives.
